Just the basics as usually for all “For Dummies” books. Depends on what level you are, but if you have experience better choose another one.

For beginners it is pretty good guide, at least the general principles of SEO, it is very much outdated as many things have change in SEO in the last couple of years.

My personal opinion is that all “For Dummies” books are not good enough even for newbies. A lot of details are missing and very huge part of content is presented as a joke.

This is a good guide for people that want to learn SEO with easy examples. I quite like this book, it include all basic SEO techniques.

I’ve got this book, bought several years ago and I can say that it is a good SEO reference. A bit outdated and very basic, however a good start-up.
